Ji Young Chun, Lost, 2015. film and projection, screen: 11'(width) x 6'-6"(height). USA and Korea.

Selected and screen-played at Duke Film festival in 2013, the film in this installation work portrays the long day I wandered around Duke campus, Durham NC on April 2013. Exhibited in 2015, two years later at Project Broom Gallery, Korea, the film is projected onto a wall, and I perform the set of actions I took while filming the video at Duke campus. The performance served to remind me of the identity loss experienced during my undergraduate years.

Below is the original short film Lost.

Below is the performance that I gave in Project Broom Gallery, reacting to the simulation of the film.
